Steering wheel is smooth to the touch and no cracks showing on rim/spokes. There is one crack on the left end, but is covered by the woodgrain trim. 

The woodgrain trim piece is available in reproduction.

Woodgrain inlay around the rim: outboard edge is really smooth, inboard edge can be felt in some areas. It should be resealed.
